Studio to Gallery

I have to admit that whenever I see an empty retail space in Sidney, I think about having a gallery. Then one considers...leaving the island every day - um, no.  And so, as I'm spending  less and less time in the studio creating myself, the idea came to change it into a studio/gallery and showcase all Island artists work.  When I started mentally listing the painters, sculptors, weavers and photographers it seemed a very viable project.  Like most artists, I'm not very good at touting my own work, but I do love to chat about other artists work.  So, preparations are underway!  Invitations to Piers Island artists are being delivered and we will see who wants to be part of this new adventure.
