Opening this weekend is a solo exhibit with works from Valerie Rolfe. We will have a wonderful selection of originals she is now ready to part with and a great selection of giclee prints on both paper and canvas. We'd love to say Hello and we're sure you'll love to see this lovely new work from Valerie available in giclee on canvas, titled - Hello.
Valerie's show runs from May 15th to June 6th and we invite you to visit us on weekends from 2-4 pm or by appointment for a private viewing for you or your bubble and of course, Zoom, Facetime and Skype viewing are always available as well. Masks are still a MUST at PIG with hand sanitizer on your way in. #yyjart #valerierolfe #westcoast #orcas After a delayed opening...PIG opened the doors again on Thursday December 6th showing off the beautiful new creations of her talented artists. Here are just a few images of pieces that are still available to fulfill wishes on your Christmas list. We'll have some new kelp weavings in from Grant Warrington next weekend...your last weekend before Christmas. :) We are pleased to be able to offer high quality giclee prints on canvas of Valerie Rolfe's newest works. Printing is done using premium inks on canvas, stretched onto either 1.5 inch boards, or .75 inch boards. The deeper boards give what's termed as a "gallery wrap" finish that is not usually framed and ready to hang. If you prefer to frame your art, the .75 inch depth would be your choice, but it will be ready to hang as well. If no choice is indicated in the order form below - the piece will be "gallery wrap" depth. All canvases are then finished with a varnish coat to protect them. These will be produced in various Limited Editions quantities of 30. When I look at all the wonderful artwork by our talented Piers Island artists I can't help but hum...here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus! :) We do try and keep the artist pages updates with new work and prices, but if there's anything you see that strikes your fancy and you'd like more information, please contact us. But it always sneaks up on us and every year we seem amazed how suddenly it is the week before Christmas with so much to do! PIG is here to help you find awesome gifts for everyone on your list. We've asked our artists to bring us small works for December, but as soon as they are in - you'll see them on our Facebook page. :) A few ideas for you here...all under $150 from all of our artists. Not on Piers? Yes, we can ship! #foodies #yyjart #smallworks #piersisland
Start making that list and checking it twice, because wouldn't it be nice to give someone special on your list something created by a Piers Island artist. :)
