My name is Garth and I am a nature photographer and tour guide. I live on Piers Island year round.  Before moving to Piers I worked for over 25 years as a zookeeper with all groups of animals and enjoyed them all, but admit I have a special fondness for gorillas.  I worked closely with them for many years. I have been leading African Safaris for 15 years taking groups to Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe and more recently to Churchill, Manitoba to see the polar bears.
