Wood

​Wood is my medium of choice.  It’s variations in colour and texture inspire me and I love to handle it.  As an apprentice joiner I work with many varieties.  My granddad is my creative mentor - his artistry and craftsmanship motivate me and his guidance, tools and workshop are always available to me.  

The boards I've made are food safe.   I recommend they be wiped clean after use.  Their original finish can be restored, if necessary, with a light application of food-safe beeswax or butcher-block oil.

Piers Island has always been my happy place and I really appreciate Piers Islanders' support and enthusiasm for my work.
