​Studio AY was co-founded by designers Kevin Isherwood & Christa Clay in so-called 'Vancouver, BC'. As a practice, they are a small studio focused on architectural design and craft with a specialization in circularity and natural resources. The practice is deeply rooted in place, focusing on local and responsible material use. They have previously explored elements of ceramics, woodworking, and small scale architectural works.
Kevin has known Piers Island his whole life, learning a deep appreciation for local history, culture, and protocol from his grandfather Jim Currie.
